Daniel Warner

Over the years I’ve been involved in several activities and interests.  After years of expanding my opportunities I finally decided to make woodworking a life long career. It is my job, hobby, and passion.

I still enjoy other activities including the outdoors, rock guitar, following marching bands, restoring automobiles, and just about anything a little crazy.  I’m still somewhat involved with the Boy Scouts.  Once an Eagle always an Eagle.

I’m originally from Tell City, Indiana, once the heart of the fine furniture industry.  I spent my youth living in town and working on the family farm over the summer, which makes for an interesting mix.

This site is mostly dedicated to the work that I do at my shop in Tell City. Please go through the pages and see the adventures that my brother and I have had in and because of that old building.

How to know when you’ve been a woodworker too long
You can’t count to ten using your fingers.
Manipulating fractions in your head is easy.
You always have a tape measure in your pocket.
You have a board that is so special you are afraid to use it in a project.
You don't have furniture cause you haven't built it yet
You’re watching a show on TV and you think to your self, “That’s nice furniture in the White House.”
You make a trip to the Smithsonian just to see the Studley Tool Chest.
You are not above dumpster diving for materials.
