The Purdue course on offer in June 2007 is a junior-level survey entitled "Germany and France: War, Peace and Memory." It will highlight the complex, violent, and ever-changing relations between these two nations since 1500, exploring how bitter enmity gave way to more harmonious interaction after World War II.
