Lunar Eclipse Telescope and Camera Configuration

Camera and telescope setup in an afocal configuration; as can be seen the camera lens is positioned up against the eyepiece on the telescope. The telescope was focused normally by just looking through it with my eye. The camera lens was at 18mm and the focus adjusted to 0.38mm the closest setting. The camera, as you can see, was mounted on a tripod which was required as the shadow covering the moon required longer exposures.
