I am an assistant professor in School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University. I am also affiliated with Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering (RCHE) as well. My research interests are in applying various human-computer interaction (HCI) technologies (e.g., information visualization, mobile computing, and assistive technologies) in solving critical problems in healthcare.
I received my Ph.D. degree in School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology in August 2008, and I received my Bachelor degree in the department of industrial engineering at Seoul National University in February 1998.
If you would like to know more about me, simply google “Ji Soo Yi.”
Finally, our lab members and I established the HIVE Lab at GRIS 101. We are looking for creative, passionate, social undergraduate and graduate researchers (funding for Fall 2009 is available). If you are interested, please check out the “How to be a new HIVE Lab member” page.
