What is new!
- Jun 15, 2009: I am visiting the MAE dept. of UC San Diego, working with Prof. Sonia Martinez. until late August.
- Jun 14, 2009: I attended ACC 2009 at S.t. Louis.
- Apr 18, 2009: I attended HSCC2009 at San Francisco, CA. I really enjoy the interactions with so many great minds in hybrid systems.
- Dec 13, 2008: Just came back from CDC 2008 at Cancun. How do I feel? Wonderful people at a wonderful place attending a wonderful conference!!

- May 07, 2008: From May to Aug, 2008, I will be visiting the Hybrid System Group in the AAE dept. of the Stanford University, CA. My advisor there will be Prof. Claire Tomlin. I will also work closely with Dr. Alessandro Abate
Brief Bio
I was born at Benxi, a small town of Liaoning Province of China. I attended the University of Science the Technology of China (USTC) for my undergraduate study and obtained the B.E. degree in Automatic Control in 2003. After a two-year study at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY, I moved to Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, where I am currently a 4th year PhD student of ECE department in the area of Automatic Control under the direction of Prof. Jianghai Hu.
From May 2006 to Aug 2006, I did a summer internship at Roche Diagnostics in Indianapolis, where I developed models and simulation softwares for glucose control of diabetics patients. Since Fall 2008, I have been a Dual-degree Master student of the Statistics department focusing on Mathematical Statistics.
