About Prof. Jesiek

I am a faculty member in the School of Engineering Education and School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University. I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Tech and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Science and Technology Studies (STS) from Virginia Tech. I draw inspiration from engineering, computing, humanities, and the social sciences to advance understanding of geographic, disciplinary, and historical variations in engineering education and practice. My current positions include Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Engineering Education (JIEE), Director of the National Institute for Engineering Ethics (NIEE), and Chair of the International Network for Engineering Studies (INES).
