About

I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University. I received my PhD in August 2014 from the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). At UIUC, my advisors were Prof. Negar Kiyavash and Prof. Todd Coleman.

My research involves identifying, modeling, and controlling (stochastic) interactions between agents in a network. I am broadly interested in information theory, network science, algorithms, and statistics with applications in neuroscience, social networks, and biomedical science.

Prospective Students

I am looking for students to join my research group. Competitive applicants will have a strong applied math background with exposure to statistics and computer science. Successful candidates will receive financial support. For interested applicants, please forward your CV in an email with a short statement of interests, using an email subject of “Purdue Grad App. <your name>”.
