How many athletes compete in Boilerman?
Typically, Boilerman has around 120 participants, mostly in the collegiate division.

I want to withdraw from the race, can I get a refund?
Sorry, we are unable to offer a refund if you withdraw from the race.

I want to withdraw from the race, can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Sorry, you cannot transfer your registration to someone else if you withdraw from the race.

When does parking open?

When can I check into the transition area?
You may check in to transition AFTER you check in at the registration table. You MUST check in at registration first even if you picked up your packet the night before. We still need to verify your presence in the morning and give you a timing chip. Please see our schedule here.

I forgot to sign up early and now the prices have risen! Can I still get the discounted price?
Sorry, no. Please understand that in order to prepare for the race, we want to encourage registration as early as possible, which is why discounts are availiable for athletes who register earlier.

Can I still get a Boilerman t-shirt if I signed up after early-bird registration closed?
If we have extra t-shirts, we will sell them at packet pickup! Arrive early if you want one!

When will race results be given to USAT?
Boilerman will deliver results to USAT no later than 2 weeks after the race. Additional processing by USAT will then progress.

Is Boilerman a USAT sanctioned race?
Yes! All racing athletes must have a valid USAT membership to race. You may purchase a one-day membership with your registration if you like.

How will the race be started?
The race will start in 2 waves. Wave 1: Collegiate Men, Age-group Men, and Relays. Wave 2: Collegiate Women, Age-group women. Waves will be separated by 3 minutes.

How long do I have to finish the race?
You have four hours to finish the race. The course will remain open, but your finish time will not be recorded if you do not cross the finish line within four hours. Please see the schedule.
