Forest ecology, climate change, quantitative ecology, big data, spatial patterns, community ecology, phenology
My research falls within the realms of large-scale forest ecology. I enjoy using new statistical approaches and big data to answer questions about how forests have been changing due to recent impacts such as climate change.
In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, hiking, and climbing: basically, anything that gets me out into the world that I spend so much time studying!
