Approach and Vision


Integrated multidisciplinary research is needed to develop sustainable solutions to the complex environmental problems that impact ecological and water resource systems. The integrated approach is even more relevant given the resource constraints encountered in solving environmental problems in a rapidly changing world. My research group focuses on Water Resources and Ecohydrologic Engineering including: hydrologic and water quality modeling; fate and transport of critical contaminants; understanding of the associated ecological responses; trends and impacts of land use, land management and climate on water resources; sustainable water resources management; and the development of computer and internet-based applications.
