A Short Biography

I was born in Ankara, Turkey. I completed my primary and secondary education at TED Ankara Koleji and got my BS degree in Computer Engineering at Bilkent University.
In the summer of 2007, I moved to the US for graduate study at Purdue University and got my PhD degree in Computer Science in 2013. I worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Purdue in the 2014-2015 academic year.

Activities

For the school years 2008-2009 and 2009-2010, I was in the Administrative Board of the Purdue Turkish Student Association.
I'm quite keen on practicing foreign languages (among those I can speak -at least some- are French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese) and traveling with my sister Merih, who happens to be my best friend as well.
I hardly ever have free times, which I enjoy spending on concerts, movies, plays and musicals. I'm a big fan of Purdue Convocations.
