The Welcome Reception is held at the beginning of the academic year and is organized by NISO, Purdue Alumni Association and PFA. Incoming Purdue Fulbright students are invited to this welcoming.

The amenities include food and special guests such as our Nobel-Prize Laureate guest faculty member in 2014 Reception, Ei-ichi Negishi.

This formal event is also a great opportunity for the incoming students to get to know their fellows on campus and ask them about the things every newcomer needs to know such as housing, registration procedures and campus life.
