Dragon is a speaker dependend voice input system. This means that each user must train the software so it will recognize their voice. Dragon is mainly used to transcribe speech into written text inside other programs such as Microsoft Word, Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Firefox. Dragon can also be used to control your computer or browse the web.
Installing Dragon NaturallySpeaking
Dragon NaturallySpeaking (a.k.a Dragon) can only be installed on Windows operating systems at this time. The “Dragon for Mac” product is no longer supported by ™Nuance Communications, Inc.
You must make an appointment with the ATL to install and train Dragon. This is so we can provide you with a user account/license at the time of installation. Keep in mind that it will take a minimum of 30 minutes. It is suggested that one or two hours be set-aside to adequately train the software.
