To create a sense of competition and to see the best of the best from our fellow students, we like to hold contests. T-shirts can be ordered at the 3rd Floor Store or by e-mailing atreske@purdue.edu with your size.
HFES Web Design Competition
The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) and SIGGRAPH are hosting a web design competition together. For those interested, you have until Oct. 31 to create design and create a website. It can be of any content (Use your best judgment here), and we will be evaluating design, creativity, functionality, and interface. So we want a website that looks good just as much one that works well!
The top prize for this competition is $100 for first place, $50 for two runner ups. You can submit your name, contact, and URL for the site to purduesiggraphofficers@gmail.com. Good luck to everyone who enters. Winners will be announced at a November meeting.
