Swiss Valley, the closest ski and snowboard area to Purdue, houses 11 trails, 2 quad chairlifts, a triple chairlift and two terrain parks. The terrain parks are groomed daily and are open to both skiers and boarders. The terrain parks feature two different difficulties, one containing a large tabletop jump, a step-down rail, flat-down fun-box, c-box, s-rail, rainbow rail and more while the starter terrain park contains a fun-box, dance floor, mail box, and a low-down deck. Swiss Valley has offered a SICK deal to Purdue students. All you need to do is show your college ID and get $15.00 lift tickets. They're open from 10am to 10pm Monday through Friday and open an hour earlier on Saturday and Sunday, so it's an awesome place to spend the weekend.

Perfect North Slopes

Perfect North Slopes is home to 14 trails, 2 terrain parks and snow tubing. With a variety of difficulty and a killer park crew, PNS is the perfect weekend get-away no matter what level of expertise you ski or snowboard at. Lift tickets run between $35 and $43 per day with the option to ski until 9:30PM during the week or 1AM on Friday and Saturday nights. If you're a beginner or even an intermedia skiier or snowboarder, lessons are available to make sure you can shred. Prices range from $5 to $80 so check out their website for more details.

Paoli Peaks

Paoli Peaks offers 17 trails, 3 terrain parks and snow tubing. Paoli offers a unique setting, with the main lodge at the top of the hill rather than the bottom. Lift tickets are $40 per day with a Midnight Madness or Twilight Special on Fridays and Saturdays. The Midnight Madness, for $29, allows you to ski from 8PM - 3AM while the Twilight Special, for $35, allows you to ski from 5PM - 3AM.
