3. Statement of Purpose
The statement of purpose should be approximately 300-500 words. This is just a guideline for students. There is no problem with statements that are slightly longer.

4. Can you waive my application fee?
Our department is not authorized to waive the application fee. That must be done by our Graduate School. The link to the information concerning eligibility for having your application fee waived is available at the link below.

5. Do I need to send official transcripts?
You can upload copies of your official transcripts with your application. That is all we need for evaluation. We only require the official transcripts if you are admitted.

6. Can the TOEFL be waived for an international student if I will receive my B.S. or M.S. in the United States?
The Graduate School will routinely waive the English Proficiency testing requirements for applicants who have received a baccalaureate degree or graduate or professional degree, within the last 36 months prior to the time of recommendation for admission, from a school where English is the primary language of instruction in a country/location where English is the native language.
