OPEN REG/SUMMER REG time tickets: https://web.ics.purdue.edu/~thomazj/time_ticket_a.htm

How to request to be waitlisted for a course (note: NOT all courses have a waitlist option)
NOTE: If a full course is available for waitlisting, it should appear when the student searches for it and it will have a "waitlist" checkbox available for them to check.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUNETxwcg5Q

Waitlist alerts: need for override and schedule conflicts with existing courses in student’s schedules
: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caJM8e-i7sw
Factors that can prevent a student from getting into an open seat are if:

  • Students have outstanding override requests that have not been approved in the Registration Workflow
  • A time conflict with some other class in the student’s schedule (i.e. if a space opens in a section that conflicts with something else that the student is already enrolled in)
  • or they encounter some other Banner registration error, i.e. a registration hold.

Additionally students will receive a warning if all possible enrollments into the waitlisted course overlap with something else."
