Teaching Resources

Humboldt believed that teaching should be guided by and be intertwined with research. Following Humboldt's ideal, we offer various research opportunities to students. Getting involved in research can offer an invaluable experience that helps undergraduate students better understand how research is conducted, increases science literacy, and helps getting prepared for graduate school.

By the same token, we regularly use activities in our classes that have the goal to demonstrate effects and illustrate theories that are described in the literature. To facilitate the translation of research into teaching, we also developed materials and activities related to our own research. On this site, you will find examples of class activities and research presentations that can be used for educational purposes.
