CDOG is actually a reincarnation of a group called the "Purdue Dog Training Club" that dissolved about 6 years ago. After much investigation, we were able to get permission from former members of the Purdue Dog Training Club to change the name to its current "Campus Dog Owners' Group".
Founding members Erin James, Cassie Shoup, Vicki Waranoski, Heather Carter, and Noah Shields started the group during the second semester of the 2004/2005 school year and held the first callout in mid-February 2005. As of January 2006, the CDOG mailing list had over 75 people signed up.
While still young, CDOG has already offered one dog training practice, hosted 18 socials for dogs and people, and participated in Springfest (where our face painting booth was extremely popular for the second year in a row)!
We are looking forward to doing much more as a club this semester and
we need your help to do it!
