Helping Paws is dedicated to helping animals by volunteering and fundraising for animal organizations and events in the Greater Lafayette area. We have volunteered our time for a variety of groups and events over the years. We are currently involved with or plan on making club trips to:

Crystal Creek Kennels
Crystal Creek Kennels is a local animal shelter and dog boarding center in Battle Ground, IN. We visit weekly to walk, train, and play with the shelter dogs there, giving them the human contact they need to be great adoptable pets! We will also be helping out with adoption events held at Petsmart in Lafayette, IN.

Columbian Park Zoo
Columbian Park Zoo is home to over 190 animals representing 79 different species including the Sugar Glider, the Madagascar Hissing Cockroach, and the Blue and Gold Macaw. They are located right in here in Lafayette, IN.

Wildcat Creek Wildlife Center
The Wildcat Creek Wildlife Center is located on 80 acres in Carroll County, IN. With a staff of volunteers they work as a state and federally licensed wildlife rehabilitation center rescuing and rehabilitating animals year-round.

Located in Albion, IN Black Pine Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit exotic animal refuge for captive-raised non-domestic animals in need. The work to give rescued and retired exotic animals a safe haven and to educate people about exotic and endangered species and responsible pet ownership.

Fair Oaks Farms
Located in Fair Oaks, IN, Fair Oaks Farms is one of the largest dairy farms in the country. It's are also a popular family destination, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about sustainable dairy farming with barn tours, interactive exhibits, and even watching the birth of baby calves.

Wolf Park
Wolf Park is a non-profit organization located in Battleground, IN. They are dedicated to education and behavioral research which benefits wolves and their canid relatives. The Park maintains free-living ambassador animals in mixed habitats, provides public educational programs and in-depth seminars, hosts researchers from many institutions to conduct behavioral and cognitive research with the wolves, and advocates for the species' conservation.
