But if you have a phone, you may find cheaper services with no obligation and you can change your company if you're not satisfied with the service. There are also less famous/typically cheaper options. These companies typically offer pre-paid services. Here are some of them:

• Straight Talk [you can buy it at Walmart]
• PTel [cheapest option in my opinoin, if you can don't use it much and just want to have a number]
