Prior to joining Purdue University, Dr. Jahanshahi was a research technologist in the Mobility and Robotic Systems Section at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) at the California Institute of Technology (2013-2014), a Caltech Postdoctoral Scholar at JPL (2012-2013), and a postdoctoral research associate in the Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at USC (2011-2012). His research interests include autonomous sensing, data interpretation and intelligent condition assessment of structures. He has been working in the field of computer vision and machine learning to develop robust systems for the health monitoring of civil infrastructures.

Yu-Ting received her B.S. degree in the Department of Civil Engineering at National Chiao Tung University in 2012, and M.S. degree in the Department of Civil Engineering at National Taiwan University in 2014. She earned her Ph.D. degree in the Lyles School of Civil Engineering at Purdue in 2023. Her research interests are computer vision, artificial intelligence-based road condition assessment, virtual reality, and system identification.

Wen received his B.S. in the School of Civil Engineering at the Harbin Institute of Technology in 2017, and M.S. degree in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley in 2019. His research interests are computer vision, machine Learning, adaptive perception, and robotic-based information gathering.



Zixin WangZixin Wang
Ph.D. Student, Lyles School of Civil Engineering


Zixin received his B.S. degree in the School of Civil and Water Conservancy Engineering at Shandong University in 2016, and M.S. degree in the College of Civil Engineering at Tongji University in 2019. His research interests are structural vibration control, sensor modeling and fusion, machine learning, and smart extraterrestrial habitats.

Abhishek received his B.S. in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tribhuvan University's Pulchowk Campus in 2020. His research interests are computer vision, deep neural networks, embedded systems, and robotic inspection.

Malleswari received her B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, in 2013 and 2014, respectively. She earned her M.S. in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore in 2018. Her research interests are structural health monitoring, computer vision, augmented reality, machine learning, and quantum computing.

Ojaswi received his B.S. in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tribhuvan University's Pulchowk Campus in 2022. He has experience in seismic vulnerability assessment of urban systems. His research interests are computer vision, machine learning, structural dynamics and physics-informed deep learning.
