2+1 Artworks » Starry Night
This is a photograph captured by the Hubble Telescope of a halo of light around a star in the Milky Way galaxy. I find it as beautiful as any piece of art and the photograph is actually called “Starry Night” for its resemblance to Van Gogh’s painting of the same name (Dailymail). Personally I love this picture because it represents how technology enables us to capture nature’s ultimate, most far-reaching beauty.
