A variety of support mechanisms were available to those who needed assistance.

  • Project graduate students provided mentoring and technical support to faculty and teaching assistants who sought to use technology to support their instruction. Drop-in help was available every Friday afternoon, and faculty were urged to bring whatever they were working on, and the staff would lend a hand.
  • A technical support person wasa hired to maintain the electronic portfolio system and do programming of enhancements.
  • Periodic workshops were provided on technology topics of interest (e.g., web page development, WebCT) by project staff and partners (e.g., ITaP).
  • Various resources, including print and electronic materials, have been identified and made available (see below).
