Jeremy Frank

President frank81@purdue.edu

Jeremy is a junior from Buffalo Grove, Illinois who is studying data science with minors in mathematics and economics. He runs the Twitter handle @MLBRandomStats, created the website http://Diamond-Digest.com, and wrote two books about baseball stats with a third on the way. Jeremy also helped start the Sports Analytics Club at his high school during his senior year. This past summer, Jeremy was a data intern for Sports Reference (creators of Baseball Reference, Basketball Reference, Pro Football Reference, etc) and is continuing to work with them part time for their marketing team. A lifelong Purdue sports fan, you can bet on him being first in line to get into Mackey Arena for every home game. He also roots for the Chicago Cubs and the NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks. When at home, Jeremy umpires little league baseball games, and enjoys playing baseball and tennis.

Kai Rogers

Vice President roger330@purdue.edu

Kai is a senior majoring in Applied Statistics with a minor in Economics. He is from the Bay Area in Santa Clara, California and is very passionate about the Warriors, 49ers and Giants. Kai has been a part of the Sports Analytics club for three years and really enjoys getting to meet new people that share similar passions. His favorite club activities include analytics competitions and the March Madness Bracketology.

Kurt Weinberg

Treasurer weinberk@purdue.edu

Kurt Weinberg is a senior from St. Louis, Missouri, in the Krannert school of management with a concentration in data analytics. He’s been a member of the club since he was a sophomore, and remembers meeting and talking to Jason Benetti for his first meeting ever with the club. He’s a big STL Cardinals and Premier League fan, and enjoys running one of SAP’s fantasy football leagues as its commissioner.

Gabrielle Kraus

Secretary kraus20@purdue.edu

Gabrielle is a junior pursuing majors in applied statistics and media mass communications. After graduating, she plans to put her degrees to use working as a sports journalist or statistician. Gabrielle grew up watching Purdue athletics from the couch with her dad and couldn't be happier to be able to watch them live on campus. She puts her passion for baseball and softball to use working as a youth umpire and coach during the summer months and as an intern for the Chicago Bandits, a professional softball team. When Gabrielle isn't on campus nor working, she likes to spend her free time watching Cubs games with her dogs, Scout and Mackey (yes she's named after Purdue's very own Mackey Arena), by her side.
