Genealogical Network Analysis

Genealogical data typically comes in the form of family trees, which are a directed graphs; and DNA testing, which assigns attributes to individuals that have certain rules as to how the attributes are propagated through the family tree; and family stories, which can be processed using semantic network analysis methods to yield additional information about a genealogical network.

The objective of this project is to apply various network analysis techniques to perform a genealogical network analysis of a family using the tree and family stories collected from a broad sample of family members over multiple generations.
