Parthenon:

Parthenon (Temple of Athenia Parthenos) on the Athenian Acropolis.  The architect of this structure was Iktinos, the sculptor, Pheidias.  Both men were friends and collaborators with Pericles' building program. Date c. 447-438 BC.
