For all the Robotics classes at Purdue, see the Robotics Accelerator listing of classes at:
https://robotics.purdue.edu/education.html
- MFET 642 - Programming Robots with ROS - Lecture class with strong lab component. Learn ROS, plus do a publishable project
- ECET 540 - Real-Time and Embedded Systems - Lecture class with a few labs and a project. Learn about scheudling algorithms and real-time programming in C
- MET 503 - Applied Optimization - Good survey of optimization techniques. Most students get an A.
- MET 527 - Technology from a Global Perspective - Required class.
- TECH 646 - Analysis of Research in Industry and Technology - Required class. How ot use the libary for lierature search and how to conduct research. Easy A.
- ECE 569 - Intro to Robotic Systems - Classic intro to manipulation lecture class based on John Craig's book. Coordinate transforms, kinematics, dynamics, control.... Tough class, but good. Work to get an A, but be a proud roboticist!
- STAT 511 - Statistical Methods - One of many good STAT classes
- STAT 512 - Applied Regression Analysis - One of many good STAT classes
- STAT 514 - Design of Experiments - One of many good STAT classes
- MA 511 - Linear Algebra Applications - One of many good MATH classes - good for roboticists
- ECET 581 - Advanced Applied Computer Vision for Sensing and Automation - Intro computer vision class
