Tango Jam Session:

During the Tango Your Way to Purdue Festival, Homer Ladas and Korey Ireland plan on jamming on tango music (practicing most likely on Friday 4/18 afternoon) but also on animating a live-band music milonga (on sunday evening 4/20).

Korey Ireland is a well-known Tango musician in addition of being a Tango instructor. Here is his musical webpage:
The other instructor, Homer Ladas, also creating a tango jamming band in San Francisco. More information on:

Basically, the idea is to gather these two instructors with any local (amateur or not) musicians who would have the guts :) to jam tango music with them and practice in public for a dancing event. Korey will be playing on his bandoneon. Mila, his partner, will be singing. Homer can play a double bass (I don't know yet if he can bring his instrument). If you know how to play piano, keyboard, cello, violin, electric guitar, acoustic guitar (and you can get the instrument) or if you can sing and you are interested by the project, please contact Dorothee!
