Objectives:

Based on the plates previously generated, produce a planar view of the RGB cube.

Supporting Tools

Activity Outline

  1. Watch animation
  2. Open activity plate in Flash
  3. Move and rotate plates to match your proposed planar view.
  4. Save file

Instructor's Tip
Notice that the planar view of the cube allows visualization of the most saturated colors available on the computer screen!

Supplemental Activity
Activity Plate 5-A: Based on the planar view you just created, you should be able to fill in the white boxes which show shades and tints of the six colors located on the corners of the RGB color Cube.
