We love talking to kids about Rube Goldberg, our Machines, and STEM education! In the past we've brought our machine to schools, scout troops, and community events to talk about what we do. Due to travel restrictions and COVID-19, we have recently been setting up video calls instead. We're always happy to volunteer our time to talk to kids, and travel with the machine whenever we can. However, we are all full time students with limited funding, so we cannot take the machine more than a few hours drive from our headquarters in West Lafayette, Indiana except in special circumstances. When traveling is involved, we do ask that you cover transportation expenses (usually just the cost of renting a pickup truck and gas).
If a physical visit isn't ideal for your group, ask us about setting up a video chat instead!
Due to our competition timeline, physical machine visits can only be facilitated in Fall and late Spring (August-November, or late April/May).
