Hello my lovely little spoops!
This week, the Alliance will be discussing Asexuality in honor of Ace week! We'll be presenting some definitions facts and myths about the community with some discussion. Bring your A-game, kuz we're meeting on Wednesday at 7 in UNIV101.
This year's LGBTQ Symposium will be on October 22nd in Krannert. A lot of great work has been done, including from our very own Jen Martin. It's going to be super interesting, and I'm pretty dang pumped. It rund all day, so swing by after classes or when you have time.
DLP's Drag Show is going to be on October 30th! I've attached the flier. Keep your eyes and ears (and schedules) open for other events around that time. The Drag Show's kind of a big deal, and we like to celebrate. :D
The following week, we'll be hosting a Suicide prevention and awareness training during our regular meeting time. This will last between an hour and a half to two hours. It's looking like we're going to be starting at 6:30, but I'll have a more specific time ASAP. This is an important topic for us, and we hope to have as many people in attendance as possible. Tell your friends, your floor mates, etc. and bring them along as you/they feel comfortable.
