Sup?

This week's meeting is canceled (I know, I'm sad too) to encourage people to go see Frank Bruni speak Sept. 9, 6:30 p.m., Stewart Center's Fowler Hall. He's the first openly gay Op-Ed columnist for the NY Times. You can re-read what I just said about him and more on his wikipedia page.

The Rainbow Callout is on the 14th from 6 to 8 in the Union Ballrooms. It's gonna be loads of fun, and you'll get to find tons of LGBTQ Friendly campus orgs. Protip: Bring a bag, to carry all of the free stuff.

SafeZone workshops are starting soon. The first one is on 9/20. More information can be found here.

Fun Fact: On this day, in 2008, Rachel Maddow becomes the first openly gay anchor of a major prime-time news program in the United States as host of The Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC.
