VISION AND PURPOSE OF THE VIETNAMESE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ASSOCIATION AT PURDUE UNIVERSITY

1. Vision

  • Becoming a culture hub within the community at Purdue University to promote the awareness of Vietnamese culture.
  • Becoming a bridge of information between the Vietnamese people and Purdue University student.
  • Becoming a forum for discussion and exchanging information between members about professional activities or academic issues.

2. Purpose

  • Sharing and introducing the Vietnamese unique and interesting cultures with the community.
  • Creating a supportive environment for Vietnamese students to learn and understand the diverse cultures of the United States and different countries around the world.
  • Providing information about the University’s programs and the activities of Vietnamese and non Vietnamese students at Purdue University
  • Assisting freshman students who have just arrived at Purdue University.
  • Helping to promote a constructive environment for its members to discuss and seek assistance on issues related to academic and professional activities.
  • Representing the Vietnamese international students at Purdue University and protecting the legal rights of all members.
