This is the main page for the 2009 Meetings of the Midwest Econometrics Group. Due to conflicts with conference room and hotel availability (e.g., the home football schedule!), this year the meetings will be held at Purdue University on September 11 - September 12 rather than the usual meeting time in October. Our apologies for this adjustment to the traditional meeting time.

There will be no registration fee for those presting a paper at the conference. The conference will provide dinner on Friday, September 11 as well as breakfast and lunch on Sept 12. Guests presenting a paper only need to arrange for travel to Purdue and to reserve their hotel (see navigation bars above).

IF YOU ARE PRESENTING A PAPER, please bring the slides for your talk on a USB disk, in .pdf format. Each speaker in a 4-paper session will be allocated approximately 25 minutes, while a speaker in a 3-paper session should should plan on a 30 minute talk.

Finally, we are delighted to announce that Siddhartha Chib, Harry C. Hartkopf Professor of Econometrics and Statistics at Washington University, will deliver after dinner remarks on Friday.
