Michael's research is focused on wind energy conversion. Specifically: electric machine drives, power electronics, and wind farm collection system design. Below is a list of Michael's research experience.

Graduate Research Assistant: August, 2012–2013
Michael joined the AEGIS lab under Prof. Dionysios Aliprantis in August of 2012. His research focused on novel wind farm collection system designs using direct-current technologies, machine drives, and design and control of power electronics.
