How We Create Fellowship

Fellowship image

Fellowship is the final of Circle K International's three tenets and is the key to keeping Circle K tight-knit. Through interclub events, meetings both formal and social, and all day-to-day interactions, our members form friendships with each other that will last their entire lives. These friendships aren't limited to a member's home club however. Through interclub events that take place in other parts of our state or country, our members are able to get to know people from around the world better. While participating in any of these activities is completely optional, it's the members that get involved in club fellowship that gain the most from Circle K.

The key to keeping Circle K like a family is fellowship. Purdue Circle K holds socials, interclubs, and regular meetings to form fellowship. Among these activities, performing service and leading in the club also improves members' relationships with one another.

Meetings

Formal meetings are bimonthly held Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 PM in various locations. Follow our social media (see top of page) or email newsletter, for all of our meetings' locations.

Interclubs

An interclub is a event that involves two or more Kiwanis family clubs. Interclubs are much rarer activities than socials or meetings. However, many members find them more powerful in creating fellowship than any other event. Interclubs in the past have included a weekly Kiwanis lunch, Purdue/Notre Dame football games, and even trips down to Indiana University to interact with their Circle K Interclubs require more time and dedication, but we highly recommend you check at least one out!

Socials

A social is the short way of saying a fun social gathering. We aim to have socials every other week because we all know formal meetings get boring. Typical socials we've had include getting coffee at Starbucks, eating at Chick-fil-A, and just working on homework together. You'll find that many of our members have the same major as you which makes it really easy to connect and can lead to strong friendships. Even if you aren't sure about joining Purdue Circle K, come meet us and maybe attend a service event!
