3/2/11: Resume Review/Lunch Series
This semester we partnered up with Intel to provide students with Resume Reviews & free burritos as part of the Latino Cultural Center Lunch Series. Thank you Intel for all your support!
2/26/11: MAES Rube Goldberg
Our Rube Goldberg team placed SECOND in this years competition with one flawless run. This year's task was to water a plant. We hope to come back for first next year!
2/26/11: High School Rube Goldberg
Along with the Society of Women Engineers, we hosted this year's H.S. Rube Golberg. Eigth schools got a chance to compete in this years competion. Congrats to the winners! Also thanks to our sponsor, Shell.
2/22/11: Pinatas Completed
With a good turn out in the last of the pinata building events, we made seven fantastic pinatas that will be filled with candy and donated to local children charities, and centers.

1/25/11: Congrats to New E-Board!

12/12/10: End of the Semester
Familia, we couldn't of had a better semester. We hope to see you and new faces in the spring. Let's continue to make this organization thrive. Good luck with Finals, and Happy Holidays.
12/6/10: Purdue University Dance Marathon(PUDM)
MAES members participated in PUDM by not only staying up, but standing up for 18 hours in support of Riley's Children Hospital. MAES hopes to help fundraise for this cause in the future through Taco Tuesdays.
12/3/10: Piñata Making
Thanks to all of you who came out to our Piñata making event. We completed the first part of making the shell, so if you are still interested in helping decorate keep checking back for date and location of our next session. Note that piñatas made will be donated to local charities supporting children activities.
12/2/10: MAES Gift Exchange
There is not a better way to gift exchange than through a game of humor. MAES members exchanged gifts through a game were everything and anything could be wrapped, even toilet paper.
11/20/10: MAES Rube Goldberg
After joining forces with the National Society of Black Engineers(NSBE), MAES is on their way to competing in the Rube Goldberg Competition in the Spring. MAES is already very far ahead compared to its first participation last year.
11/10/10: IEEE Cardboard Boat Regatta
After its second year competiting in the IEEE Cardboard Boat Regatta, MAES was able to place second. This year MAES members build a cardboard boat that resembled a Viking ship. All funds collected where donated to charity.
10/31/10: Delta Pi Rho Ballet Folklorico
This year MAES co-sponsored the Ballet Folklorico with other student organizations. The Ballet Folklorico is a traditional style of Mexican dancing. This was a great way to share our cultures with the student body and community.
10/30/10: Williams Preparatory Visit
Students from Williams Preparatory in Dallas, Texas got a chance to meet and have lunch with Purdue MAES members. They were also given a tour of campus and learned more about MAES & Minority Enginering Program.
10/25/10: Boo at the Zoo
MAES participated at Columbia Park's Boo at the Zoo. MAES member's dressed as Disney Characters,and acted out their characters, and also help out with hands-on activities and games.
10/10/10: Taco Tuesdays Thanks to all of you who came and supported Purdue MAES Events & Fundraisers' Taco Tuesdays!! Especially too my awesome Purdue MAES members for all your help!! Over 1500+ tacos sold, 400+ happy customers, 1 cause supported, and over $800 in profit to support our outreach events
10/05/10: National Symposium in Anaheim, Califorrnia
MAES sent seven members to this year's national symposium where some of them got the opportunity to present resarch, and network with both corporate representatives and other student chapters.
9/15/10: Networking Night
MAES members enjoyed getting to meet corporate representatives at the SWE/NSBE/SHPE Networking Night. Good luck with IR and interviews!

Purdue MAES introduces its new, user-friedly website. Some of the new features include, easier navigation, news and updates section, and upcoming events section. It is still partially under construction, so check back often for more updates.
