Maddy Eklund-West is a proud Boilermaker from San Diego, California. She is a junior majoring in accounting and management with concentrations in international business and finance. Her planned 150 credit graduation year is 2016.

Maddy became a member of PAA during her first semester at Purdue. She has been active in the club by attending many events, such as Relay for Life and volunteering at Gleaner's Food Bank. Since joining, she has seen a need to enhance social gatherings. Maddy hopes to create a community atmosphere within PAA. Her goal is to encourage lasting bonds between members to increase their professional and personal network.

Maddy has spent the summer of 2014 studying abroad in London, gaining global business education through The Foundation for International Education. During the summer of 2012, she interned at Littleton Wennes Accounting Firm fresh out of high school to confirm her major choice. She hopes to sit for her CPA exam upon graduation to further her career in accounting.
